Vendor Requirements:

  • Vendors are responsible for obtaining the proper permits, licenses and insurance to sell in California. Food vendors, including those selling baked goods, must have a County Temporary Food Facility (TFF) permit to participate in Vamos al Tianguis events.

  • Vendors must cover local and state sales taxes generated from their sales. We recommend consulting with state, county, and local tax entities to learn about specific sales tax rates.

Vendor Participation:

  • Open to chefs, artisans, designers and artists with a preference for handmade and locally sourced products.

  • Space is limited, but all interested parties can apply.

  • Vendors are advised to align their prices with the North Bay's usual standards.

Subsidies:

  • Available for low-income individuals, seniors, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, or nonprofit representatives. Submit an application and an email detailing your situation and proof of income to be considered, such as a MEDICAL card, CalFresh card, or other relevant documentation.

Vendor Responsibilities:

  • Bring your own tables, displays, and merchandise. Electricity is not provided.

  • Use a 10'x10' canopy with minimum weight requirements for stability.

  • Setup starts at 4 pm; takedown at 9 pm.

  • Leave your space cleaner than you found it; we suggest bringing your own broom, dustpan, and trash bags.

Volunteering:

  • Commit to volunteer hours for event organization, cleanup, and promotion.

Accessibility:

  • Venues are child-friendly and ADA compliant.

Weather and Emergencies:

  • Events may be canceled due to bad weather or emergencies, with a full booth fee credit.

  • In emergencies, prioritize your safety, notify organizers, follow indicated protocols, secure your belongings, seek help if needed, and follow updated instructions.

Notifications and Cancellations:

  • Participation confirmation will be 3 weeks before the event. Apply early as space is limited.

  • Once all spaces are filled, a waiting list will be created.

  • Applicants not selected for the Healdsburg Tianguis will be notified by email 3-4 weeks before the event. Cancellations by Vamos! will result in a credit for future events.

  • A $35 fee applies for vendor cancellations after confirmation.

  • Vamos reserves the right to reject an application or participation if the vendors have a history or cause any incidents that disturb the well-being and safety of the Tianguis.

  • Photo and Press Consent:

  • Vendors consent to be photographed and filmed for promotional use, images from the event day only.
